TruckerPro GPS Pilot FAQ
The hardware is under evaluation and the software platform is not built. These answers describe today’s status without treating roadmap work as a shipped product.
Status, hardware, and terms
Can I order a TruckerPro GPS tracker now?
No. TruckerPro GPS is a private hardware evaluation and software-development effort. The interest form is not an order or quote request.
Is the TruckerPro tracking platform live?
No. Device ingestion, customer maps, geofences, alerts, mileage reports, and TruckerPro TMS integration still need to be built and validated.
Where will the trackers work?
Both candidates support LTE-M; the TAT141 candidate also supports NB-IoT. TruckerPro has not selected carrier service or established geographic coverage. Coverage must be tested during the pilot.
What will the service cost?
Pricing, service terms, warranty, support, and availability have not been finalized. Selected pilot participants will receive written terms before committing.
Which hardware is being evaluated?
The powered-asset candidate is the Teltonika FTM880-Q2AB0, internally labeled TP056. The unpowered-asset candidate is the Teltonika TAT141-Q3IB0, internally labeled TP057.
Is the TP057 rechargeable or configured by Bluetooth pairing?
No. The TAT141 candidate uses a replaceable, non-rechargeable 2200 mAh battery. Provisioning is not a consumer Bluetooth-pairing flow.
How rugged are the candidates?
The Teltonika FTM880 is rated IP69K and the Teltonika TAT141 is rated IP68. Suitability still depends on installation and the manufacturer operating limits.
Does this replace an ELD or provide IFTA reports?
No. TruckerPro GPS is not an ELD or Hours-of-Service system, and it does not currently provide IFTA-ready reports. Those claims must not be inferred from the pilot.
What happens when I submit the interest form?
The submission is validated and stored for TruckerPro follow-up. It is not an order. Duplicate and excessive submissions are limited. Records carry a 90-day expiry and expired rows are removed during intake maintenance.
